Cool links

Adlin sent me some interesting sites to check out.

Ever get the feeling you've been cheated? It's meant to be a classic album, but all you can hear is a load of boring tripe ... we've all felt that way. And so have the musicians we asked to nominate the supposedly great records they'd gladly never hear again.

This is a Guardian article about classics which are overrated. I totally emphatize with Franz Ferdinand's Alex Kapranos on Television's Marquee Moon. I thought The Strokes really did Television better than Television!

Here's another one called 'Shoplifters Of The World Unite'. Pretty funny blog based in Malaysia where people blog about what they have shoplifted. Love the Smiths reference. The Love Experiment was almost called The Shoplifters' Union once, as a tribute to the Mancunian band and well, a certain ex-hobby of ours. But all is good and we are respectable members of society now. All past deeds are swept underneath the carpet. Move along... there's nothing to see.
